THE BEST ILLUSTRATION OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT IS THE BA CHALLENGE

On 18 May, Baltic Amadeus attended the annual conference held by the Association of Personnel Management Professionals (APMP) where the company’s internal initiative the “BA Challenge” was declared the best illustration promoting involvement and motivation of employees and the winner of the competition “Best Practices in Personnel Management”.

For this year’s competition, which had a key objective to encourage organisations to invoke modern methods of personnel management that create value for the business, 10 strongest Lithuanian companies have submitted 12 applications. Having evaluated the significance, innovation, uniqueness of long-term practices of every project as well as involvement and application of innovative principles of personnel management, the participants of the conference declared the BA’s initiative “BA Challenge” to be the best practice.

“BA Challenge is more than a company’s challenge involving every single employee and bringing the staff together. Taking its roots as a sports initiative, within a few years’ time it grew into 4 different areas of interest, 24 activities a year and into the company’s motivation project that involves 114 employees of the company. It is a freedom and an opportunity for everyone to create their own Challenge, put their limits to a test and enjoy the company that is great to work for every day”, – said Darius Dužinskas, the Marketing Manager, speaking about the initiative that has been successfully developed by the employees themselves for the third year now.

Winning the “Best Practices in Personnel Management” is another successful challenge overcome by the Baltic Amadeus team and proof that the right path for motivating and involving employees chosen leads to an all-rounded synergy between them and the company.
