For 26 years UAB Baltic Amadeus continues being successful in the Lithuanian IT market. In 2014 the service exports to Scandinavia are being strengthened even further.

2013 was particularly successful for the company as during the year several cooperation agreements were signed with Swedish and Norwegian companies. One of them is the Norwegian telecommunication solutions company SIMCOM AS, offering an open source Asterisk project based IP communications platform to the Scandinavian market that provides the users with open links in order to integrate any third-party products into a single system and due to the use of open source components gives them the ability to pay less. The UCP (Unified Communication Platform) solutions developed by SIMCOM AS are characterized by high flexibility and innovation – they are not only able to integrate systems of different technologies: customer management databases like MS Active Directory or MS Exchange, conference calls or Microsoft Lync and Skype conferences, but also allow oneself to create the desired call sequence (workflow), to see the busyness of the colleagues in real time, leave them an email, regulate the call flow.

“We are pleased that after starting the collaboration with Baltic Amadeus we are rapidly moving into the mobile space – presenting a mobile application of our solutions and integrating our software and social media channels into a single interface. This will provide customer service centres with new, previously infeasible, customer service opportunities.” – with pride about the cooperation between the Norwegian and Lithuanian companies speaks the CEO of SIMCOM AS Elvind Jonassen.

“SIMCOM AS company was looking for competent IT partners in Lithuania , which would be able to update their offered product’s user interface in a really short period of time, so we are glad that Baltic Amadeus fully met the strict partnership requirements of the client.” – says the CEO of Baltic Amadeus Andžej Šuškevič. “From a few Lithuanian IT companies we have chosen this particular company because of their highly-qualified specialists, very clear operational procedures, well developed IT infrastructure and a positive approach to their own activities – work enjoyment, sincere communication and a fun corporate culture.” – says E. Jonassen.

According to A. Šuškevič , less than half a year since the start of the cooperation, today the Lithuanians can enjoy complete trust of their Norwegian client as well as the status of becoming the company’s sole IT division. “Today we are posed with a new major challenge – to optimize the client’s existing software and to make it even more attractive to the public sector, in particular to the Scandinavian educational and scientific institutions.” – says the head of the company without hiding the fact that during the first half of this year these communication solutions will be introduced and will start to be distributed in the Baltic markets. This is not the first project successfully carried out by Baltic Amadeus and their Scandinavian partners. The innovative technologies and solutions developed by the Lithuanians guarantee better competitiveness and economic efficiency for their clients and also demonstrate the potential of the Lithuanian IT market and the wide range of abilities of the IT professionals of our country.
