OPAY is a payment gateway designed to streamline online transactions for merchants, enabling seamless and efficient payment processing. By partnering with OPAY, businesses gain access to a variety of popular payment collection methods across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
To accommodate a growing user base and increased system demands, OPAY required a robust and reliable server infrastructure capable of managing high traffic without interruptions. Following a comprehensive assessment of the existing setup, our team recommended migrating their servers to the AWS cloud to meet these challenges effectively.
Prior to initiating the migration, we conducted a detailed analysis of the client’s infrastructure to align the solution with their performance, scalability, and cost requirements. A phased migration plan was developed, allowing the seamless transfer of IT workloads to AWS with minimal disruption to their services.
The AWS Kubernetes service was utilised as the backbone for managing and scaling applications in the cloud. Adhering to AWS’s Well-Architected Framework principles, the architecture was designed with automatic failover capabilities, ensuring continuous functionality even in the event of a component failure. The migration process was executed in carefully planned stages, accompanied by rigorous testing at each step. To support long-term stability, we implemented continuous monitoring and dynamic resource management.
The AWS migration provided OPAY with a reliable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure that effortlessly handles substantial transaction volumes while adapting to evolving business demands. This flexible and scalable solution ensures operational stability, efficiency, and growth potential for the platform.
Our partnership extends beyond the migration. We continue to provide ongoing support and prepare for future developments. Upcoming initiatives include cost optimisation, enhancement of notification services, and the creation of infrastructure environments tailored to new business ventures.
